Y MountainLine Daypack 40L
Description
The only pack you’ll need for most of your mountain adventures, regardless of season – from a climbing daypack to a fully rigged ski mountaineering pack equipped with Safeback SBX.
Recommended Use
Long ski tours, Multi-day ski trips, Winter mountaineering, 4-season alpine adventures
Modular Elements
Y MountainLine Daypack has a modular design, with many removable elements.
SBX-related: SBX top-lid, Diagonal carry ski straps, Leg loop/crotch strap.
Other modular elements: summer lid, ice axe attachments, hip belt, hip pocket, frame sheet, and aluminum stay.
SBX Integration
SBX is integrated into a removable top lid, meaning that it can quickly be attached to the pack when the winter adventures take you into avalanche terrain. 4 carabiners and 4 industrial velcro straps hold the top lid securely in place on the backpack and its straps.

The SBX Control Unit is housed in the top lid of the Y MountainLine Backpack, accessed by a zipper on the underside of the lid.

When stored in the lid, SBX has access to the air outside of the pack via the mesh window on the top of the lid.

Fresh air outlets are mounted under the mesh windows on the shoulder straps.

The activation handle can be mounted on either shoulder based on your personal preference.
